The Wiggles Caught in ‘Ecstasy’ TikTok, But Don’t ‘Support or Condone’ Drugs

The band is still part of Keli Holiday’s “dream rotation,” though

The Wiggles team had a silly response to a question about the kids band’s stance on drugs. Over the weekend, two members were captured dancing in a TikTok that used Keli Holiday’s “Ecstasy” in the background. After the clip surfaced, a spokesperson clarified that Dominic and Anthony Field had no idea the song would be used.

“The Wiggles do not support or condone the use of drugs in any form. The content being shared was not created or approved by us, and we have asked for it to be removed,” said the spokesperson in a statement to The Guardian. “While Keli Holiday (Adam Hyde) is a friend of the Wiggles, the video and the music added to it were created independently and without our knowledge.”

The TikTok video has since been deleted from social media, but originally showed Anthony (Blue Wiggle) and Dominic (Tree of Wisdom) dancing to Holiday’s lyrics, “Hey girl come and dance with me/You and your pocket full of ecstasy.”

The video was filmed during the TikTok Awards in Australia on Nov. 26, when the group performed “Dancing2” alongside Keli Holiday. “Our performance at the TikTok Awards was family-friendly and fun, and this video was edited together separately and without our awareness,” the spokesperson told The West Australian.

In yet another seeming drug reference, though, Holiday posted a video of the performance with the Wiggles, captioning it “dream rotation,” a reference to the phrase “dream blunt rotation” in which users share the people with whom they would want to share marijuana.

The Wiggles recently released their kids album The Tree of Wisdom in October, and their collab-filled Wiggle Up, Giddy Up country album — which included a Dolly Parton collab — in March.
