They’ve done it! Dave and Tems take Raindance all the way to Number 1 this week after settling for second place seven days ago.

The enduring hit, now in its 13th week inside the Top 40, becomes Dave’s fourth Number 1 single following Funky Friday with Fredo (2018), Starlight (2022) and Sprinter with Central Cee (2023).

For Tems, it’s a maiden visit to the summit of the Official Singles Chart.

Raindance ends the two-week chart reign of Djo’s nostalgic banger End of Beginning, which slips to Number 2. RAYE’s former chart-topper WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! bounces back to Number 3 as she announces her second studio album, THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE., due on March 27.

Bruno Mars’ groovy new single I Just Might climbs into the Top 5 (5) as anticipation mounts for his upcoming album The Romantic next month. As a result, Bruno’s Lady Gaga feature Die With A Smile (23) and 2012 track Locked Out of Heaven (28) both make gains after returning to the Top 40 last week.

Official Charts One To Watch 2026 alum Sienna Spiro sees her hit song Die On This Hill rebound to its Number 9 peak. The joint highest climber this week comes from PinkPantheress with Stateside. Thanks in part to its remix featuring Zara Larsson, the track leaps 11 places to Number 12. Speaking of Zara, Lush Life climbs two spots week-on-week (7) and Midnight Sun zooms 10 to a new peak (29).

Also jumping 11 places is Gunna and Burna Boy’s WGFT, which storms back into the Top 30 (30). Meanwhile, Sonny Fodera, D.O.D and Poppy Baskcomb’s rhythmic dance banger Think About Us enters the Top 20 for the first time (18).

And finally, The Cure are celebrating a return to the Official Singles Chart Top 40 for the first time in over two decades! Reissued on CD and vinyl to mark the fact it’s become the band’s first track to reach a billion streams on Spotify, their 1986 hit Boys Don’t Cry re-enters the Top 40 (39) for the first time in nearly 40 years. The Cure’s last Top 40 chart appearance was with Taking Off in 2004.
