Druski, J Balvin, Benson Boone & Kane Brown to Participate in NFL’s Super Bowl LX Flag Football Game

With the Super Bowl heading to Santa Clara, Calif., the NFL and YouTube are teaming up for the official Super Bowl LX Flag Football Game in the Bay Area.

Druski and J Balvin are slated to serve as captains for the game, while decorated artists such as Benson Boone and Kane Brown will be suiting up in the contest, which is slated for Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. PT, and will livestream exclusively on YouTube.

Former NFL stars Cam Newton and Michael Vick will dust off the cleats to play quarterback once again, and Deion Sanders, aka Coach Prime, is expected to be in the mix as well, even at 58 years old.

A handful of YouTube creators such as Deestroying, Jay Cinco, Jessor, Marlon Garcia, Pierson Wodzynski and Ross Smith are going to be playing alongside flag football stars Diana Flores and Ashlea Klam.

Kay Adams will handle pre-game and halftime hosting duties, while former NFL player Andrew Hawkins is on board as a play-by-play announcer.

Last year’s Flag Football Game was a star-studded affair that saw Team Speed battle against Team Kai Cenat. Some of the notable names to hit the field included Latto, Sexyy Red, Shedeur Sanders, Cole Bennett, Teyana Taylor, Quavo, PlaqueBoyMax and Duke Dennis, while Druski was the head referee.

“This annual flag game has quickly become one of Super Bowl week’s most anticipated fan events, bringing together sports, entertainment and culture in a way that is truly authentic,” said Ian Trombetta, who serves as the NFL senior vice president of social, influencer and content marketing, in a statement. “Partnering with YouTube, we’re highlighting the rapid global growth of flag football, while creating an experience that brings fans around the world closer to the sport as well as the creators and stars they love.”

As for Super Bowl LX, it will be a rematch of 2015 with the Seattle Seahawks taking on the New England Patriots on Feb. 8.

Bad Bunny is handling halftime show duties, and fans can expect plenty of star power at Levi’s Stadium, including Cardi B, who will likely be in attendance cheering on her boo, Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
