BRIT Awards 2026: Alex Warren added to live performers line-up

Alex Warren is the latest artist to be announced as a performer for this year’s BRIT Awards ceremony.

The show is being held outside of London for the first time in its 50-year history, taking place at Manchester’s Co-op Live on February 28, and it is set to be a star-studded affair, with Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, HUNTR/X’s EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson and Rosalía all already announced as playing at the ceremony.

Now, Warren has been added to the line-up, after a year in which his breakout hit ‘Ordinary’ became the most played song on British radio, as well as the longest-running UK Number One by a US artist this decade.

He has said: “The UK is where ‘Ordinary’ first broke and changed my life last year. I am so grateful for all the love from my fans there, and I can’t wait to bring a big performance to the BRITs’ stage for the very first time.”

It was also revealed at the end of 2025 that ‘Ordinary’ had been the most streamed song of the 2020s over the course of the year, clocking up around 750million streams.

It is nominated for Best International Song of the Year at the BRITs, while Warren was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys earlier this month and he won the same prize at the VMAs last year.

Jack Whitehall is returning to host the BRITs this year for the sixth time, and this year’s trophy, designed by Matthew Williamson, has also been unveiled.

Scottish art-folk artist Jacob Alon has been confirmed as the winner of the 2026 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award, and those with the most nominations this year include Olivia Dean, former NME Cover star Lola Young, Sam Fender, Lily Allen and Lewisham rapper Jim Legxacy.

Other artists being honoured at this year’s BRITs include Mark Ronson, who has been awarded for his Outstanding Contribution to Music, and Noel Gallagher, who has been given the ‘Songwriter Of The Year’ award.

You can check out a full list of nominees here, and the show will be broadcast on ITV1 in the UK, with performances to be shared worldwide on YouTube.
