Zara Larsson and Perfume Genius have pleaded with fans to help them change their Wikipedia photos to something more flattering.
Larsson shared an update with fans on TikTok recently, pointing out that she has tried numerous times to swap her photo on the site for one that she likes more, but has realised that someone else has been just as eager to swap it back to the original that she dislikes.
“Whoever the fuck is changing this fucking Wikipedia picture to this picture, stop! Stop doing it,” she said, pointing out which picture she isn’t a fan of, and saying that she is determined to swap it out permanently.
“I will never stop, I will never stop changing that picture,” she added, going on to show fans where they can find the picture that she thinks is a “nice one”, so they can help her swap it out.
At time of writing, the photo she prefers is currently on display, and Stereogum reports that the edit action history on the page highlights that her page has been subject to “persistent disruptive editing” and a “recent flood of vandalism”.

She isn’t the only artist coming forward to vent frustration over their Wikipedia page, either.
Recently Perfume Genius’ Mike Hadreas shared that he was eager to change his image on the site, and was unhappy that it had been the same photo in place since 2017.
“Can someone please change my Wikipedia pictures? How do you do it? It’s haunted me for years,” he said on Twitter/X, going on to jokingly exclaim that his peer Blake Mills managed to get a more flattering image.
His photo has now been updated to a more recent one.

In other Zara Larsson news, the singer recently joined forces with PinkPantheress for a nostalgic music video for their ‘Stateside’ remix. It features on PinkPantheress’ star-studded ‘Fancy Some More?’ remix album, which was shared in October as an accompaniment to the Mercury-nominated ‘Fancy That’, released in May.
Before then, the singer went viral for condemning ICE and criticising the United States Customs for banning her partner from visiting the country.
As for Perfume Genius, the singer recently worked with Anna Calvi for a cover of Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy’s ‘I See A Darkness’.
