Massive Attack announce summer 2026 European tour

Massive Attack have announced a handful of European live shows for this summer.

The group shared news of the tour this morning (Tuesday, February 24), taking to social media to announce five new shows scheduled for Europe.

The dates kick off on May 27 with an opening night at the Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki, followed by a stop at the Dalhalla venue in Rättvik on May 30.

From there, three shows are scheduled for June, and feature a stop at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, the Zitadelle in Berlin, and the Forest National in Brussels on June 1, 7 and 8 respectively.

Tickets will be available from Wednesday (February 25) when the pre-sale kicks off at 9am GMT. Visit here to buy tickets, and sign up to Massive Attack’s WhatsApp channel here for more updates.

Massive Attack’s 2026 European tour dates are:

MAY
27 –Helsinki – Veikkaus Arena
30 – Rättvik – Dalhalla

JUNE
1 – Copenhagen – Royal Arena
7 – Berlin – Zitadelle
8 – Brussels – Forest National

As for other Massive Attack news, it was recently revealed that Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten will be covering some of the group’s tracks for the soundtrack to the new  Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man film, and the band have also shared plans to release a “cache” of music “created in the recent past” this year, but not on Spotify.

The Bristol trip-hop legends have not released any new music since the 2020 EP ‘Eutopia’. Their last full-length album was 2010’s ‘Heligoland’.

In an interview in 2024 with NME, the band’s Robert Del Naja confirmed that they had “some new music which we’ve been sitting on for four years”, and in November he shared that he was looking to release some of it in 2026.

The dispute with Spotify came to a head last year, when they revealed that they had asked their label UMG to remove their music from the platform, following reports that the company’s CEO Daniel Ek had led a €600million (£524million) investment into Helsing – a Munich-based company creating drones and artificial intelligence for military operations.

Other political stances the group have taken include joining Fontaines D.C., Amyl & The Sniffers and over 400 other artists in backing the No Music For Genocide campaign, and  joining Primal Scream in slamming the government for allowing the arrest of “peaceful citizens” at a Palestine Action demonstration in London.

Earlier this month they responded to the ban on the direct action group Palestine Action being deemed unlawful by the High Court.

As well as headline shows this summer, Massive Attack have been announced as playing at Primavera Sound in June, as well as Primavera Porto.
