Wilco announce summer 2026 UK and European tour

Wilco have announced a UK and European headline tour for this summer – check out all of the dates and ticket information below.

The Chicago indie veterans’ last studio album was 2023’s ‘Cousin’, their 13th LP, which was then followed by the ‘Hot Sun Cool Shroud’ EP the following year, and now fans can look forward to the band returning to Europe in August.

They will kick off their run at Oslo’s Øya Festival on August 13, which will be followed by further festival appearances in Copenhagen and Gothenburg. From there, they will play headline shows in Nijmegen and Amsterdam, before arriving at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on August 20.

They then play Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall on August 22, before dates in Antwerp, Paris, Rome, Mantova and Sibenik. Tickets for all of the shows are on sale now and you can find yours here.

Wilco will play:

AUGUST
13 – Øya Festival, Oslo
14 – Syd For Solen, Copenhagen
15 – Way Out West, Gothenburg
17 – De Vereeniging, Nijmegen
18 – Paradiso, Amsterdam
20 – Eventim Apollo Hammersmith, London
22 – Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow
25 – OLT Rivierenhof, Antwerp
26 – OLT Rivierenhof, Antwerp
28 – Rock En Seine, Paris
31 – Auditorium Parco Della Musica Cavea, Rome

SEPTEMBER
1 – Palazzo Te, Mantova
3 – St. Michael’s Fortress, Sibenik

Last year, Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy announced a new triple solo album, ‘Twilight Override’. It arrived in September, marked his fifth record as a solo artist, and contained 30 tracks that he recorded and produced himself at his Chicago studio The Loft.

He went on to join Hayley Williams, Waxahatchee, Weyes Blood, Rufus Wainwright, Maren Morris and more as special guests last year when Bleachers performed at Newport Folk Festival 2025.

Earlier this month, Tweedy shared an emotive cover of Cameron Winter’s ‘Love Takes Miles’ for Valentine’s Day, dedicated to his wife Susan.

In 2024, the Wilco frontman opened up about his relationship with music criticism and revealed, “I tried to be a rock critic but I couldn’t do it”.

“I tried my hand at writing for fanzines in St. Louis but was too lazy to do it correctly or with any success,” he said. “I did a bunch of interviews with different people that came through town: Rain Parade, Stiv Bators, Long Riders, Soul Asylum. Basically, I tried to get free tickets to shows, and there was a fanzine that would give me free tickets.

“I only completed maybe one or two of those assignments, but I did get to hang out with those musicians. I would always joke that I tried to be a rock critic but couldn’t do it, so I started a band.”
