Saturday Night Live UK has confirmed the line-up of musical guests for its first three episodes.

The new UK version of the long-running US variety show is due to begin this Saturday (March 21) on Sky and NOW TV, and will run for six episodes.

The line-up of hosts and musical guests for the first three instalments has now been revealed.

US actor and comedian Tina Fey will present the debut episode, with Wet Leg scheduled to perform live. For next week’s edition (March 28), Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan (Belfast) will take on hosting duties, with Wolf Alice lined up as the musical guests.

Episode three (airing on April 4) is set to see actor Riz Ahmed (Bait, Hamlet) presenting, while Kasabian provide the live music.

A press release reads: “Together, this first wave of hosts, musical guests and cast members marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for the globally acclaimed SNL franchise – blending its storied legacy with a fresh generation of British comedy voices.”

Live from London at 10pm every Saturday night, each 75-minute episode will see a different host take to the stage alongside SNL UK’s inaugural cast.

The show’s cast includes Black Ops star Hammed Animashaun, Celeste Dring who appeared in This Country with Daisy May and Charlie Cooper, comedian Ania Magliano, who recently featured on Taskmaster, George Fouracres who appeared alongside Cillian Murphy in the Netflix film Steve, Big Boys star Jack Shep, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.

SNL creator Lorne Michaels will serve as executive producer on the show, which will follow the same live format as its US counterpart.

James Longman, lead producer on Saturday Night Live UK, previously said: “The UK is absolutely packed with incredible comedy talent right now and this cast represents the freshest voices we have, they’re bold, exciting and of course, incredibly funny.

“The chemistry between them is something special and we can’t wait to share this funny group of people with the world.”

Phil Edgar-Jones, executive director for Sky unscripted originals, added: “We all need a laugh like never before, so we’re beyond excited to bring Saturday Night Live to the UK, only 50 short years after it first launched in the US.

“The show’s long-standing legacy of discovering and nurturing outstanding comedy talent speaks for itself, and this UK version will build on that legacy with the support of Lorne Michaels, a brilliant local production team, and an exciting new generation of voices. Saturday nights are looking bright!”

In other news, Wolf Alice recently won the British Group award at the BRITs 2026, and called on fans to support “grassroots venues across the country where we quite literally learned to play our instruments and write our songs”.

The band also delivered a theatrical rendition of their single ‘The Sofa’ during the live ceremony.
