The evolution of Cruz Beckham from a curious social media presence to a legitimate psych-pop force reached a fever pitch last night. Cruz Beckham & The Breakers took to the stage at The Courtyard Theatre in London, marking the first of three consecutive sold-out nights at the venue. These performances serve as the grand finale to his debut headline UK and European tour, which has seen the band traverse independent venues over the past month.

Taking the stage at 9:00 PM alongside bandmates Dan Ewins, Telmo Seixas, and Dario Scotti, Beckham delivered a set that balanced his growing discography with a glimpse into the future. Fans were treated to high-energy renditions of his three hit singles—‘Optics’, ‘Lick The Toad’, and ‘For Your Love’—alongside a selection of unheard tracks that suggest a full-length project is on the horizon.

The critical reception to the tour has been remarkably consistent, with veteran publications noting that Beckham is far more than just a famous name. The Guardian praised the set for uncovering “psych-pop worthy of further investigation,” while The Telegraph highlighted the technical proficiency of the live show, noting: “The band, clearly having the time of their lives, are impressively tight, and Cruz’s guitar playing is more than a match for the more seasoned musicians.”

Beckham’s stage presence has also been a talking point, with The Times observing that “his enthusiasm is infectious.” This momentum is already translating into a massive summer schedule. Earlier this week, Cruz announced his debut US headline tour for the summer of 2026, alongside high-profile festival slots at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Shaky Knees.

For those who missed the London opener, the band returns to The Courtyard Theatre on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th March to officially close out this chapter of their journey.
