Sombr Announces ‘You Are the Reason’ North American Fall Tour

Sombr will head out on his first arena tour later this year. The musician will kick off his 37-date You Are the Reason Tour at Mexico City’s Pepsi Center in July, with the majority of the shows taking place across North America in September, October, and November.

The tour will conclude on Nov. 23 at Madison Square Garden in Sombr’s hometown of New York City after hitting cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta, Austin, Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Detroit. The tour will feature support from Interpol, The Last Dinner Party, Tom Odell, Dove Cameron, Balu Brigada, King Princess, The Hellp, and Hannah Jadagu on select dates.

Along with the tour, Sombr announced his forthcoming single, “Potential,” which arrives on April 16 along with an official music video. The song will follow his most recent track, “Homewrecker,” released in February.

Sombr, who performed at Coachella over the weekend, will spend his summer touring around music festivals. He’s set to play Lollapalooza in Chicago, Rock En Seine in Paris, and Reading and Leeds Festivals in England, among others. Sombr will also perform at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, in July.

The artist pre-sale for the tour begins on Tuesday, April 14 at 10 a.m. local time. The general on-sale begins Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. local time.

Last month, Sombr wrapped the Late Nights & Young Romance Tour after nearly 70 shows. During the run, the artist surprised his audience with appearances from Niall Horan, Joe Jonas, Laufey, Cigarettes After Sex, Sam Smith, and more artists.
