Nogizaka46 Scores 31st No. 1 on Japan Hot 100

Nogizaka46‘s “Saigo ni Kaidan wo Kakeagatta no wa Itsu da?” shoots to No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, on the chart released April 15.

The long-running group’s 41st single launched with 666,662 copies to lead in sales, while also coming in at No. 9 for downloads, No. 19 for streaming, and No. 22 for radio airplay. The single marks Nogizaka46’s 31st No. 1 on the Japan Hot 100. Here’s the complete list of the group’s chart-toppers:

M!LK’s “Bakuretsu Aishiteru” rises a spot to No. 2. Radio climbed to 128% of the prior frame, while the track also moved 5,060 copies, primarily through brick-and-mortar retailers, bringing cumulative sales past 680,000 copies.

OWV’s “ROCKET MODE” debuts at No. 3. The title track off the group’s 12th single opened with 87,267 copies to come in at No. 2 for sales and also places No. 9 for radio.

M!LK’s “Suki Sugite Metsu!” climbs 5-4, with radio rising to 137% of the previous week and karaoke activity hitting No. 1 for the fifth cumulative week.

Rounding out notable debuts, CLASS SEVEN’s “Kokoro ni Kiss wo Shita” arrives at No. 9. The title track off the group’s second single comes in at No. 7 for sales and No. 2 for radio. Rising boy band Monaki’s debut single “Honmayade☆Nandeyanen☆Shirankedo” bows at No. 12, hitting No. 62 for radio, No. 4 for sales, No. 26 for downloads, and No. 9 for video views. Meanwhile, Keisuke Kuwata’s “Hitotarashi,” released digitally on April 3, jumps from No. 70 to No. 14.

The Billboard Japan Hot 100 combines physical and digital sales, audio streams, radio airplay, video views and karaoke data.
