After dropping her fifth album, Midnight Sun, last year, Zara Larsson is rallying the troops for what’s shaping up to be a star-studded deluxe version. Robyn, PinkPantheress, Shakira, and more are set to appear on Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, which is due out May 1 via Epic/Sommer House. Check out the album artwork below.
Larsson is keeping the tracklist specifics under wraps, but she did reveal who’s taking part in the remixes in general with a teaser clip on Instagram. In the video, the Swedish pop singer-songwriter enters a gas station and flips through a bunch of keychains listing each artist’s name. “I’m so so so so so honored and excited for this,” she captioned the post. “And you know what’s crazy? This is just the beginning of girls trip!!! Like HELLO This summer is gonna be madness.”
In addition to the aforementioned musicians, Larsson also roped in Tyla—who she’s collaborated with before on “She Did It Again”—as well as Kehlani, JT, Madison Beer, BAMBII, Margo XS, Emilia, Malibu, Eli, and Helena Gao. Perhaps the most fitting team up for Girls Trip is her pairing with PinkPantheress. She hopped on the producer’s Olympics-approved “Stateside” remix and made a surprise cameo during her Coachella set last weekend, too.
