Harry Styles Demonstrates the Power of Dancing & His Little Red Shorts in Playful ‘Dance No More’ Music Video

DJs may not dance no more, but Harry Styles definitely does. The new music video for Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally single “Dance No More” finds the One Direction alum dancing and singing and moving to the grooving (to quote Wild Cherry) from start to finish — all while making a statement with his shorts’ barely there inseam.

Premiering Thursday (May 7) on YouTube after a brief countdown — during which a cheeky pair of red running shorts bounced around on screen — the video opens with the pop star walking into an open room where his band is already waiting for him. Wearing those same red shorts, Styles starts singing and shaking his groove thing to the beat as a crowd of people in rows of plastic chairs suddenly appears in front of him.

Through the hypnotic powers of his leggy dance moves, the singer compels the audience to jump out of their seats and crawl toward him, wanting to become part of his performance. “It’s feeling like the music has been heaven-sent/ And that there’s no difference in between the tears and the sweat,” Styles sings as the setting changes to a different open space, where he and the group perform synchronized choreography before breaking into a carefree rave.

The video marks the third visual Styles had paired with his Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally album, which dropped in March and spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He previously gave his Billboard Hot 100-topping lead single “Aperture” and followup track “American Girls” the video treatment.

The Grammy winner is now gearing up to embark on his Together, Together tour in less than two weeks. Starting off with a run of shows in Amsterdam, he’ll spend this year playing mini-residencies in London, New York City and more cities around the world.
