This Is Lorelei Signs to Matador, Announces Tour

This Is Lorelei, the solo project of Water From Your Eyes’ Nate Amos, signed to Matador Records today (May 12), after releasing his last two LPs on Double Double Whammy. He also announced a host of upcoming tour dates, set to take him across North America, Europe, and the UK this year. Check out a full itinerary below.

The tour, which kicks off on September 22 in Columbus, will feature Bleachers, Colin Miller, and @ on select dates. Before his fall run, Amos has three summer festival dates slated: he’ll play Salt Lake City’s Kilby Block Party on May 17, Newport Folk Festival on July 25, and Just Like Heaven in Pasadena on August 22. Amos will spend the rest of his summer touring with Water From Your Eyes, who are opening for Hayley Williams’ tour.

This Is Lorelei’s most recent album, Holo Boy, came out in 2025. Earlier this year, he released a “super deluxe” edition of his 2024 debut Box For Buddy, Box For Star, which included reworks from Power Snatch (the duo of Hayley Williams and Daniel James), Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman, Jeff Tweedy, Snail Mail, SASAMI, Momma, and more.
