Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak have been spotted enjoying a night out at celeb hotspot Nobu in Malibu, California.
The outing comes weeks after they were seen holding hands while stepping out on a movie date in May, as they caught a screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in Los Angeles.
The pair first sparked dating rumours in December 2024 while in Aspen, Colorado, where they were spotted holding hands on several occasions throughout the holiday season.
Talking on Keke Palmer’s podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer, in September last year, Carey shared that she and .Paak had first met while working on her album Here For It All.
When asked about the dating speculation, Carey played coy, teasing that there is “maybe a little love” between her and .Paak. She skirted around confirming an official relationship, saying, “.Paak is just part of the hand-holding club.”
However, .Paak has since dismissed the rumours, stating they are just close friends and he is far too busy to commit to a relationship.
.Paak filed for divorce from his former wife, Jae Lin Chang, in January 2024 after 14 years together. He and Chang share two sons, Soul Rasheed and Shine Tariq.
Carey was last romantically linked to choreographer Bryan Tanaka, whom she dated on-and-off from 2016 until the end of 2023, when they finally called it quits.
