The Rolling Stones team up with Marvel for exclusive ‘Foreign Tongues’ vinyl collector series

The Rolling Stones have teamed up with Marvel to launch a special vinyl collector series for their new album ‘Foreign Tongues’.

The new collaboration comes as the rock icons are preparing to release their 25th studio album on July 10 via Polydor/Universal Music.

It’s set to feature guest appearances from Paul McCartney, Robert Smith, Steve Winwood and the band’s late drummer Charlie Watts, and will include the previously released singles ‘Rough And Twisted’ and ‘‘In The Stars’, as well as a cover of the Amy Winehouse classic ‘You Know I’m No Good’.

Now, with less than one month until release day, the Stones have confirmed a new collaboration with Marvel for the album artwork. For a limited time, a special collector’s release will be on offer – replacing the original artwork with Marvel-inspired designs.

There are five variants on offer, one shows the Hulk carrying a truck with the Stones’ iconic lips logo on the side, one shows Spider-Man crafting the logo out of webs, and another shows Captain America crashing through a wall covered in the design.

Other variations include Thor holding his hammer, with the lips logo being formed by lightning around him, and one of Wolverine standing in front of the design.

Each design has been designed by Marvel illustrators especially for this release, and you can pre-order them here.

The full tracklist for the record was revealed last month –  with the song titles appearing on streaming devices, but in actual foreign tongues – and since then the band have revealed how they ended up working with The Cure’s Robert Smith.

Although the new music is on the way, the band don’t have any tour dates lined up to promote it.

In late 2025, they confirmed that they’d scrapped plans for a UK and European stadium tour in 2026 because Keith Richards was unable to “commit” to it. Since then, the guitarist has hinted that they might hit the road in 2027, and Mick Jagger has expressed that he “can’t wait” to get back out on the road with the group.

The frontman surprised fans in Oxford recently, playing an impromptu gig with students at a local pub.
