Watch Angine de Poitrine Perform “Fabienk” on Jools Holland

Canada’s Angine de Poitrine were among the guests on last night’s (June 21) episode of Later… With Jools Holland. The masked math rock duo broke out all their signature trappings—uncanny choreography, microtonal riffs, and lots and lots of polka dots—for a performance of “Fabienk,” from their new EP, Vol. II. Also, have you noticed that their guitarist (that’s Khn de Poitrine to you; the drummer is Klek) plays barefoot? ’Cause I sure didn’t—until today.

Last night’s other performers included Arlo Parks, Sam Smith, and Shania Twain. Holland himself hopped behind the piano to accompany Twain, who covered Hank Williams’ “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry.” Watch Angine de Poitrine and Shania Twain on Later… below.
