A BTS fan who rang Jungkook’s doorbell 133 times has been told she may face deportation.
The Brazilian woman, who has not been further identified, was handed a suspended prison term for repeatedly visiting the K-pop star’s house despite being warned to stay away, NME reports.
The woman is said to have first visited the singer’s home in December 2025, where, according to court documents, she loitered before throwing items over the wall and pushing letters through gaps in the door, according to the BBC.
She claimed her actions were “out of love”.
This week, a district court in Seoul sentenced the woman to one year in prison, suspended for two years. The woman is also expected to be deported from South Korea, unless she successfully appeals the verdict.
The woman was previously arrested on 13 December last year after following a food delivery into the property via a side gate.
On another occasion, she is said to have rung the doorbell 133 times, which the court said showed an “extreme level of obsession”.
In total, the woman is alleged to have visited the property 22 times.
Police issued an emergency order that banned her from coming within a hundred metres of the property. When that failed to have an effect, police referred her to prosecutors in February.
BTS are currently touring in Europe with shows in Madrid, Brussels, London and Munich scheduled from Friday throughout July.
