Olivia Rodrigo hints she ‘might’ duet with Stevie Nicks at all-female Daisy Chain Fields festival

Olivia Rodrigo “might” surprise fans and duet with Stevie Nicks at her all-female festival, Daisy Chain Fields.

On August 29, the 23-year-old pop star is staging the star-studded event at Great Park in Irvine, California.

As well as the Fleetwood Mac legend, the lineup also includes Chappell Roan, KATSEYE, Doechii and Karen O.

Speaking to Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America about the inspiration behind the name of the event, she said: “When I pictured this festival, I had an image in my head of girls sitting underneath a tree, like, making little daisy chains or flower crowns or friendship bracelets. I also just like the idea of a daisy chain, how we can all be individual links in this chain that is larger than the individual.”

The first artist that sprang to mind for the lineup was pop-rock star Sarah McLachlan.

She said: “Actually the first person that I called when I decided that I wanted to do this festival was Sarah McLachlan. She’s a total trailblazer and an incredible artist and friend.”

Asked if a duet with Stevie Nicks is on the cards, she replied: “We might make that happen for you, Diane. We’ll see. Can’t give too much away.”

Announcing the festival, Olivia wrote on Instagram: “truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. i’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!! Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls. the lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that. I absolutely cannot wait to scream and dance and sing with you guys August 29th!!!!

The Good 4 U hitmaker confirmed that net profits from ticket sales will go to several charities and non-profit organisations, including the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, Planned Parenthood, and the National Women’s Law Center.
