The group treated fans to a massive career-spanning setlist, which kicked off with the renowned “Bouncy.” Highlighting the night was the first-ever live festival performance of “Bad,” the group’s brand-new single released just two days prior. Hits like “Say My Name,” “Work,” and “Lemon Drop” kept the crowd dancing, while a sea of fan-designed ‘lightiny’ lightsticks illuminated the sunset during “Wave.” The band wrapped up the momentous evening with an explosive finale featuring “Adrenaline” and “Guerilla,” before closing with “The Real” just as the final light faded.
An impressive supporting lineup warmed up the historic stage earlier in the day. Michigan-born singer-songwriter Bazzi captivated the audience with hits like “Mine” and “Beautiful,” fostering a deep connection across the park. Rising R&B trio FLO dazzled in sapphire outfits, delivering a polished set featuring “Walk Like This” and “Summertime.”
Iconic singer-dancer Taemin also drew massive chants, commanding the stage alongside nine dancers for an intense eight-song set that included “Sexy In The Air” and “Move.” Opening the main stage were Midnight Til Morning, the four-piece formed on Netflix’s Building The Band, who made their festival debut with immense gratitude for their growing fanbase.
Action also thrived across the festival’s other stages. Twin DJs Altégo headlined the Rainbow Stage with pounding euro-techno beats, alongside British K-Pop boyband dearALICE, who celebrated their first-ever festival appearance. Tommy Lyon, DJ Raiden, Liverpool quintet Girl Group, and alternative R&B artist Jazzie Martian completed the diverse, stellar day of music, cementing the festival’s second day as an unforgettable celebration of global pop and R&B.
