Ariana Grande ‘so sorry’ after rescheduling three shows on Eternal Sunshine tour

Ariana Grande is rescheduling three shows on her Eternal Sunshine tour due to production issues.

The 33-year-old pop star and actress has apologised to her fans for the “unfortunate” turn of events, but she insisted the decision to shift the shows to different days was the “best and safest option”.

She wrote on her Instagram Story: “We are so sorry for these unfortunate scheduling changes.

“This was our best and safest option as these challenges with production have come to our attention.

“The utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show how it is intended to run.

“Thank you so much for your understanding and I cannot wait to see you.”

The Wicked: For Good star’s planned show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center has been moved from July 12 to July 14, while her gigs at the TD Garden in Boston on July 22 and 24 have been delayed to July 23 and 26 respectively.

It’s been confirmed that tickets will be honoured for the new dates, and those with tickets will be contacted with further information.

Ariana kickstarted the Eternal Sunshine tour, which marks her first headline run since 2019, in Oakland, California on June 7.

Following the show, she wrote on Instagram: “Oakland, night one…

“It feels impossible to find the words at this time … so for now, just thank you. From the bottom of my heart.”

She added that she’s “missed” her fans after a long seven-year break from touring.

Ariana wrote: “I love you all more than words can ever possibly say. And I missed you.

“Thank you.”

The concert featured 11 songs from Ariana’s Eternal Sunshine album, which she released in March 2024 – including We Can’t Be Friends and Yes, And?.

She did include tracks from the two albums she put out before then, including Positions – which was released in 2021.

Ariana also performed her new single Hate That I Made You Love Me, from her upcoming record Petal, and concluded her show with Rain On Me, featuring pre-recorded vocals from collaborator Lady Gaga.

The Eternal Sunshine tour will conclude with a 10-night run at London’s O2 Arena from between August 15 and September 1.
