Watch Biffy Clyro play ‘Machines’ with Jamie Campbell Bower at Finsbury Park

Biffy Clyro brought out Stranger Things’ Jamie Campbell Bower for ‘Machines’ at Finsbury Park last night – see footage and the full setlist below.

The Scottish trio headlined at the London site last night (July 3), with support coming from Nothing But Thieves, Don Broco, Marmozets and Wavves.

The gig was the biggest headline show of Biffy’s career to date, and during the encore, Simon Neil and co. were joined by actor and musician Bower for a version of ‘Machines’, taken from the band’s 2007 album ‘Puzzle’.

Bower, who plays Vecna/Henry Creel in Stranger Things, has previously covered the song himself in a solo acoustic version he posted online in 2020. Check out footage from the collaboration here, alongside Bower’s solo version:

The rest of Biffy’s set saw them play hits from across their career – check out fan-captured footage here:

See Biffy Clyro’s full Finsbury Park setlist was:

‘The Captain’
‘That Golden Rule’
‘Who’s Got A Match?’
‘Justboy’
‘Biblical’
‘God & Satan’
‘A Little Love’
‘Booooom, Blast & Ruin’
‘Instant History’
‘Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies’
‘Hunting Season’
‘Space’
‘Cop Syrup’
‘Different People’
‘A Hunger In Your Haunt’
‘Goodbye’
‘There’s No Such Man As Crasp’
‘There’s No Such Thing As A Jaggy Snake’
‘Black Chandelier’
‘Mountains’

Encore:
‘Machines’ (with Jamie Campbell Bower)
‘Wolves Of Winter’
‘Bubbles’
‘Many Of Horror’

Biffy released their 10th studio album ‘Futique’ last year, and the Finsbury Park concert came after they kicked off their UK and Ireland tour in Belfast back in January.

The band will also play a huge Edinburgh show at the Royal Highland Showgrounds on August 21.

Their 2026 touring plans have been taking place without bassist James Johnston, who announced last December that he would be sitting out the dates in order to “properly address” his health.

The show opened a weekend of major gigs at Finsbury Park, with Kasabian set to headline tonight (July 4) with support from Razorlight, Miles Kane, The K’s, SOFY and Louis Dunford.

Wolf Alice will then top the bill tomorrow (July 5), joined by The Last Dinner Party, Lykke Li, Rachel Chinouriri, Keo and Florence Road.

In a four-star review of ‘Futique’, NME wrote: “Biffy Clyro have delivered one of their most personal and definitive records to date. There’s a vulnerability met with a forward motion; a feeling of three friends shining light through the cracks to find a renewed sense of purpose.

“You can holler ”Mon the Biff!’ for a while longer, it seems. A little love and a lot of noise goes a long way.”
