Tame Impala’s fifth full-length album, ‘Deadbeat’, was released last autumn. Parker later won a Grammy for the single ‘End Of Summer’ in the Best Dance/Electronic Recording category.

He toured in the US to showcase his latest LP, ahead of bringing the ‘Deadbeat’ tour to the UK and Europe earlier this year.

During a gig in Paris in May, Tame Impala performed a live version of ‘Neverender’ with Justice. The French electronic duo first appeared at the concert as the surprise opening act. Then, at London’s O2, Parker invited Dua Lipa to the stage to sing ‘Houdini’ – taken from Lipa’s 2024 album ‘Radical Optimism’, which Parker produced.

More recently, the tour has seen Tame Impala bring out special guests including Jennie and Djo. On July 29, the band invited the BLACKPINK member to assist on the viral, collaborative version of ‘Dracula’ during their show at the TD Garden in Boston.

The remix was released in February, and has since become a fixture in Jennie’s solo gigs – including her set at Mad Cool 2026 recently.

Just a day before being joined by Jennie, Parker joined forces once again with Djo (aka Stranger Things star Joe Keery) – who is opening for Tame Impala on their current run.

As for Wet Leg, Rhian Teasdale previously shared with NME that even after playing huge headline shows and booking mammoth festival slots over the years, she is still caught off guard by the band’s success, and initially doubted whether the first wave of success was set to last or not.

“It’s just crazy to see your band’s name next to legitimate artists who’ve been in the industry for a long time and who’ve maybe inspired you to make music,” she told us in last year.

“We were very much prepared for, ‘The first album was just this mad, freak incident.’ We weren’t really expecting that for album two, so it’s just really nice.”

At the end of last year their second LP, ‘Moisturizer’ was named as the 22nd best album of 2025 by NME.

In a four-star review of the record, NME wrote: “After the whirlwind that was Wet Leg’s debut album, it would have been easy for the band to capitulate under the pressure or just play it safe and remake that record.
