Shudder to Think are releasing a new EP, Who Sent You? The post-hardcore band’s three-song project lands on September 11. Listen to the title track below.
Vocalist Craig Wedren in a press release, “‘Who Sent You?’ is about my teenage years in Cleveland in the 1980s, just before I moved to D.C. with my outsized emotions—young, horny, bored. It’s both a collage of memories, refracted through the prism of time, and a message back to my younger self (sense your way home). Above all, it’s a nocturnal thank you to all of the girls, family, friends, music, and invisible hands that lit the path, angels and devils both. Who, indeed, sent you??”
Who Sent You? follows the 7” single the quintet put out in 2025, their first material in nearly 30 years. This September the group will play shows in Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia.
