British alt-rock band Bush will headline the 2026 edition of Triple M Fest, joined by Australian rock acts The Superjesus and You Am I, at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Thursday, Sept. 24, Triple M announced.

Following last year’s inaugural event, the Melbourne radio station is extending Triple M Fest into the night for the first time, pairing a full day of live broadcasting with a headline concert.

The day opens at 6 a.m. with breakfast show Mick in the Morning with Roo, Titus & Rosie broadcasting live from the venue alongside a performance from The Superjesus, followed by Deadset Legends and a special Grand Final-week edition of The Grand Final Rub. Afternoon drive program The Rush Hour with JB & Billy takes over before You Am I performs and Bush closes out the night.

“Triple M Fest is exactly what Grand Final week in Melbourne should sound like — great footy chat, live music, and the biggest personalities coming together in one place,” Jay Mueller, content director for Triple M Melbourne, said in a statement.

Bush’s Corner Hotel date coincides with the band’s broader Australian tour this month, a co-headline run with American rock act Shinedown marking Bush’s first Australian headline shows since 1996 and Shinedown’s first visit to the country in over 15 years.

The band’s 1994 debut, Sixteen Stone, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and was eventually certified six-times platinum in the U.S., powered by the No. 1 Modern Rock Tracks hits “Comedown” and “Glycerine,” along with “Machinehead” and “Little Things.” Bush’s 1996 follow-up, Razorblade Suitcase, gave the band its only No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Frontman Gavin Rossdale and the band have sold more than 10 million records in the U.S. and 20 million worldwide across a catalog that also earned a Grammy nomination for “Swallowed.”
