The Chemical Brothers, Ellie Goulding, Adéla lead latest wave of line-up for Open’er 2027

The Chemical Brothers, Ellie Goulding and ADÉLA are among the latest names announced for Open’er Festival 2027.

The festival will return to Gdynia, Poland from June 30 to July 3 next year, with 5 Seconds Of Summer and Underscores also joining the bill.

They join previously announced acts Tame Impala, Sombr, The Neighbourhood, RAYE and the Patti Smith Quartet.

The Chemical Brothers will headline the Orange Main Stage on July 1, exactly 25 years after Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons topped the bill at the first edition of Open’er in 2002.

Regular festival tickets are on sale now via Open’er’s official website here.

It marks a full-circle return for the electronic duo, whose most recent studio album was 2023’s ‘For That Beautiful Feeling’.

NME gave the album four stars, calling it a record packed with “dancefloor smashes and psychedelic experimentation” and concluding that, 10 albums in, the pair remained “the best in the business”.

They took the album on the road with a UK and Ireland arena tour in late 2023, followed by shows in Japan, New Zealand and Australia in early 2024. Their full live show was also part of the Teenage Cancer Trust series at London’s Royal Albert Hall that March.

The pair have since continued to DJ together, including an appearance at Portola Festival in San Francisco in 2025, while Rowlands has been particularly busy away from The Chemical Brothers.

In late 2025, he teamed up with AURORA to form TOMORA. Their debut album ‘Come Closer’ arrived earlier this year, and the pair made their live debut before announcing a 2026 UK and European tour.

More recently, TOMORA announced the new ‘Celebration’ EP, which is due out on October 16.

The Chemical Brothers’ back catalogue has also enjoyed a fresh boost this year after 2015 single ‘Go’ saw a 429 per cent increase in streams thanks to its prominent use in the Netflix film Apex. It subsequently returned to the UK Top 10.

Elsewhere at Open’er, Goulding will play the Orange Main Stage on July 3 following the release of her sixth album ‘I Know Too Much’ last month.

The album followed 2023’s ‘Higher Than Heaven’ and saw the singer lean further into personal songwriting. Discussing the record earlier this year, she said making it had allowed her to bring “everything together honestly, like journaling through music”.

ADÉLA will make her Open’er appearance on July 2 following the release of her debut album ‘PRIMA’, which was awarded four stars by NME last month.

The review described the Slovakian singer as a “pink-haired pop supernova” and praised the album as an “enthralling” introduction to an artist “ravenous with ambition”.

5 Seconds Of Summer will play the Main Stage on July 1, following their sixth album ‘EVERYONE’S A STAR!’. Speaking to NME around its release, the Australian group discussed embracing the “boyband” label and making what they described as their most ambitious tour yet.

Underscores, meanwhile, will perform on the Alter Stage on July 3. Her latest album ‘U’ received five stars from NME, which hailed the record as “zeitgeisty hyperpop for an overstimulated, isolated generation”.
