Britney Spears has slammed her estranged family members in an angry new message.
On Sunday, the Princess of Pop posted a still of a young Dakota Fanning flipping the bird in a scene from the 2003 comedy-drama, Uptown Girls.
In the accompanying caption, Britney blasted her sister Jamie Lynn Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline for the way they allegedly treated her after her controversial conservatorship ended in 2021.
“I will find a new family !!! Jamie Lynn never let me hold Ivy (sic) one time when I would visit in Louisiana during covid in two week trips,” she wrote, referring to Jamie Lynn’s eight-year-old daughter Ivey Watson. “And Kevin wouldn’t let me use the bathroom when I would pick my children up in their house !!! They made me feel like a slave and have all their secret things they did behind my back and all I ever did was work for my dad !!! I will find a new family !!!”
Britney remains estranged from her sister and parents, though appears to be on good terms with her and Kevin’s sons, Sean, 21, and Jayden, 20.
The Toxic hitmaker and the backup dancer were married from 2004 until 2007.
In a separate message, Britney shared she was learning to read the “beautiful language” of Hebrew, and in another post, she revealed that the vision in her left eye is “blurry”.
“I’m really really actually into my reading glasses !!! They are red and extremely tiny lens !!! Kinda felt quirky and different with color !!! (sic),” the 44-year-old continued. “But the doctor told me 6 years ago, ‘Ma’am can you see anything in your left eye !!!’ I couldn’t read one letter at all !!! The eye doctor told me, ‘Sweetheart you should go to the ocean, eat and live in the salt water and don’t listen to one word a person tells!!!’ Not sure if he knew how much I loved the ocean anyways !!! I decided to keep my blurry vision because I’ve been so hurt by what I’ve seen in my life !!!”
Representatives for Britney have not yet commented on the messages.
