Jamie Lynn Spears has brushed off her sister Britney Spears’ latest Instagram takedown.
Page Six cites an insider as sharing that Jamie and her husband, Jamie Watson, “aren’t really concerned about the post”.
In a scathing upload on Sunday, Britney proclaimed she “will find a new family”, claiming they all participated in “secret things… behind my back”.
The Grammy winner added that her family “made me feel like a slave”, noting of her sister that all she ever did was “work for dad”.
Patriarch Jamie Spears oversaw Britney’s controversial 13-year conservatorship.
Since the conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, Britney has publicly called out her family for allegedly working her to the bone, wrongfully profiting off her success, controlling her and silencing her.
Throughout the years, her father and his lawyers have denied that the conservatorship was abusive, maintaining that all his actions as his daughter’s conservator were legal, properly overseen by the court and done in her “best interest”.
Jamie Lynn, for her part, has repeatedly denied playing a part in the conservatorship, addressing many of Britney’s claims in her memoir, Things I Should Have Said: Family, Fame and Figuring it Out.
Britney also took aim at her ex-husband Kevin Federline, with whom she shares sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, in her latest rant.
According to the mother of two, Kevin “wouldn’t let me use the bathroom” in his house whenever she went to pick up the children.
