Mas Aya, the alias of Nicaraguan Canadian composer Brandon Miguel Valdivia, has announced a new album, Coming and Going. With the news comes a single, “Tú y Yo,” featuring his partner, Lido Pimienta. Listen to that below. The Máscaras follow-up arrives July 12 via Telephone Explosion.
Pimienta also features on “Waveless, Windless,” from the LP, while “Be” has an appearance from the couple’s daughter, Marina Valdivia; bassist Josh Cole, percussionist Reimundo Sosa, multi-instrumentalist Colin Fisher, and vocalist Isla Craig are among the album’s other contributors.
