Netflix has confirmed that BTS singer Jin will star in its upcoming Korean variety show, Kian’s Bizarre B&B.
Today (August 28), the streaming platform shared that Jin, along with actress and TV personality Ji Ye-eun (Running Man), has joined the cast of its upcoming original variety series. Titled Kian’s Bizarre B&B, the series is hosted by webtoon author and TV personality Kian84.
It will follow guests participating in a homestay at a guest house on Ulleungdo Island conceptualised and operated by Kian84, with Jin and Ji acting as employees of the establishment. At the time of publishing, Netflix has yet to share a premiere date for the series, though it is slated for release sometime in 2025.

In addition to the upcoming role, Jin has launched his own variety YouTube series Run Jin, following his discharge from the military earlier this year. The series is a spin-off of BTS’ Run BTS! variety show, which saw the boyband challenging different activities and missions.
Last month, Jin shared in an interview with Weverse magazine that he is working on his debut album. “[The BTS members] all finished making their own albums before enlisting, and now Jimin’s is coming out. That made me think I better not wait too long to release mine after his is out, so I’m working to get it done fast,” he said.
In other K-pop news, NewJeans creative director Min Hee-jin has stepped down as CEO of the girl group’s agency ADOR after a months-long feud with parent company HYBE. In a new statement, Min shared that it was not her choice to step down from the role. However, HYBE later stated that the board meeting was “held according to the law” with Min in attendance online.
