On Saturday (October 19), rapper Don Toliver performed at the Crypto.com Arena in California. During his set, he performed his 2023 collaboration with Bieber, ‘Private Landing’.
While Bieber joined Toliver onstage, he did not sing his part of the track, and instead just danced and moved around onstage while holding on to a microphone. Watch fan-shot footage of Bieber and Toliver performing ‘Private Landing’ below.
Bieber has also recently been posting pictures on social media suggesting that he’s back in the studio and working on new music. His most recent pictures depict him recording vocals and working on a keyboard.
Justin Bieber last released music in the form of his 2021 album ‘Justice’. He most recently featured on Don Toliver’s ‘Honest’ last year. Bieber revealed his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in June 2022 after he cancelled the opening stretch of his North American ‘Justice’ tour due to “sickness”, and later cancelled the majority of his world tour.
In a four-star review of ‘Justice’ for NME, Will Lavin wrote: “Armed with a newfound optimism borne from a dark place, he understands he’s better when he’s tapping into his own experiences, projecting relatable human emotion and working out why he’s here. He’s singing about the things he cares about: his wife, his mental health, social injustice and so much more besides.”
“With bangers, ballads and heartfelt moments, the hopeless romantic with a penchant for self reflection and tackling world issues is back. Beliebers rejoice!”
Most recently, Bieber and his wife Hailey welcomed their first child together. On August 24, Bieber posted a close-up picture of their son Jack Blues being embraced by Hailey. “Welcome home,” the pop star writes in all-caps. This follows up a post by Bieber earlier this month showing the couple out and about, with Hailey proudly sporting a baby bump.
