Kraftwerk have announced details of a new ‘Multimedia’ tour, which is set to take place across North American next spring.
Legendary electro pioneer Ralf Hütter and co. will be returning to the US to celebrate an upcoming milestone for the band: 50 years since they shared their breakthrough album ‘Autobahn’.
It also commemorates five decades since they first embarked on their tour of North America, which took place back in 1975.
In total, 27 dates have been lined up for March and April 2025, and the tour kicks off with an opening night at the Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia on March 6. This is followed by shows in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York, Miami, Nashville and more throughout the remainder of the month.
From there, the tour continues throughout April – beginning in Denver on April 2, and continuing through with gigs in Portland, Vancouver, Indio, Salt Lake City, and more. It wraps up with two back-to-back nights in Texas. The first is at the Bass Concert Hall in Austin on April 23, and the second is at the Majestic Theater in Dallas the following night (24).
“Bringing together music, visuals and performance art, Kraftwerk concerts are a true ‘Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art’,” reads a press release. The tour dates are also confirmed in a new announcement video, starring skateboarding icon Tony Hawk.

*Festival appearance
The tour announcement for 2025 comes as Kraftwerk completed a nine-night concert series celebrating 50 years of ‘Autobahn’ earlier this year. The breakthrough album was composed, produced, and recorded by founders Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider in 1974–at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
More recently, the members paid tribute to the late Ryuichi Sakamoto with a cover of ‘Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence’. The German electronic pioneers performed the track this summer at Fuji Rock Festival in the renowned composer’s home country of Japan.
Earlier this week, Kraftwerk were among the first wave of artists confirmed for the newly-launched Forever Now Festival, alongside Johnny Marr, The The, Death Cult and more.
The new festival will run across just one day and comes as a sister event of the US Cruel World festival, it will be held at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on June 22.
