A$AP Rocky has joked children’s TV shows are driving him “nuts”.
In an interview for Billboard published on Thursday, the rapper – real Rakim Mayers – opened up about raising two sons with partner Rihanna. The pair share RZA, two, and 12-month-old Riot Rose.
However, Rocky admitted he isn’t much of a fan of kids’ TV programmes, such as the animated series Cocomelon.
“That s**t is driving me nuts! Don’t tell my girl I said that,” he laughed. “I’m totally joking, I don’t give a s**t. She’s tired of it, too, probably.”
Rocky and Rihanna confirmed they were dating in 2021. And in the chat, the hip-hop star had nothing but praise for the Umbrella hitmaker, calling her a “great mother”.
“It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules,” the 35-year-old gushed. “(The relationship) is going great. I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that. And when the schedule’s freed up, that’s when you get to spend (the) most time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility.”
Rocky is currently promoting his upcoming fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb. It was originally scheduled to be released on 30 August but he has pushed it back until autumn.
Explaining the delay on X, he wrote, “LEAKS & SAMPLE CLEARANCES ARE DISRUPTING THE ALBUM. ITS BEEN 6 YEARS & I WANNA MAKE THE BEST ALBUM EVER. IM SORRY FOR THE WAIT (sic).”
