Ordinary – a booming chamber-pop song influenced by Hozier and Florence + The Machine – had previously reached a peak of Number 2 and is the first of Alex’s tracks to reach the UK Top 10. It ends the week as the most-streamed track in the country (5.6 million streams).
Alex also sees his first Top 40 single Carry You Home lift four to a new peak of Number 20, and Burning Down up five to a new high of Number 28.

South African-German rapper WizTheMc celebrates his first UK Top 40 hit with Show Me Love with Bees & Honey, lifting 15 to Number 38, while Austrian dance producer Ely Oaks also makes his Top 40 debut with Running Around up seven to Number 40.
