Following the success of his 2025 chart-topper You’ll Be Alright, Kid, Warren returns to the summit while also securing the top spot on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, selling more physical copies on vinyl than any other record this week. Celebrating the milestone while on tour in Australia, Warren received a custom clay replica of the Official Number 1 Album Award sculpted by his wife, Kouvr.
Expressing his gratitude to British fans, Alex Warren told Official Charts: “This is absolutely insane, and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys were the first ones to ever believe in me, and I hope I can get over there pretty soon and do some shows. I love you so, so much!”
Manchester rock outfit The Courteeners enter the chart at Number 2 with God Bless The Band. While missing out on the top spot, the group secures the Number 1 position on the Official Record Store Chart after shifting the highest volume of physical copies through independent UK record shops over the past seven days.
Dolly Parton’s compilation Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection moves up one place to Number 5, marking its first appearance inside the Top 5. Meanwhile, pop group Bananarama vault to Number 6 following the 40th anniversary reissue of True Confessions, earning the trio their highest-charting UK album entry in 38 years since 1988’s The Greatest Hits Collection.
Mexican rock band The Warning achieve their debut UK chart entry at Number 16 with Everything’s Falling, while guitarists Steve Hackett and Steve Rothery team up to reach Number 24 with The Roaring Waves. Metal band Mastodon claim their sixth UK Top 40 album as Marrow Deep enters at Number 27, followed by former Beastie Boys member Mike D entering at Number 28 with his debut solo release Thank You. Finally, Interpol secure their seventh Top 40 record with This Mirror Weighs a Ton at Number 33.
