Alexisonfire and Billy Talent announce 2026 co-headline arena shows in London and Montreal

Alexisonfire and Billy Talent  have announced details of two co-headline arena shows in London and Montreal – check out all the details below.

As per a statement from both bands, they will celebrate the 20th anniversaries of albums that “defined their careers”, ‘Crisis’ and ‘Billy Talent II’, with fans able to hear them play full album performances of both.

The shows will take place in London and Montreal and the acts will be supported by  Touche Amore in London and Faze in Montreal.

A statement added: “In true co-headline fashion, Alexisonfire and Billy Talent will alternate closing duties – Alexisonfire in London, Billy Talent in Montreal.”

The bands will play London’s OVO Wembley Arena on June 24 before heading to Montreal for a performance at the Bell Centre on July 17.

Pre-sales begun on February 10 at 10am local time, with general beginning on February 13 at 10am local time. You can get tickets for the UK show here and the Montreal show here.

Speaking about the shows, Alexisonfire frontman George Pettit said: “It feels like you blink and all of a sudden your album is almost old enough to drink in the United States.”

“So many incredible memories of making this record. It felt like we were really coming into our own as a band. We discovered another level of potential that we didn’t have at the start. I’m happy we get to relive it this summer with all of you.”

Since emerging in the early 2000s, Alexisonfire and Billy Talent have remained at the forefront of the Canadian music scene.

Alexisonfire’s self-titled debut arrived in 2002, while Billy Talent’s debut followed in 2003. As per a press release, “the bands effectively grew up together, from club shows across Canada to arenas and festivals worldwide, forging a long-standing friendship and shared history on the road.”

Alexisonfire’s ‘Crisis’ explored themes around the ‘Blizzard of 1977’ to disenfranchised workers and is described as “embodying a much darker theme than previous Alexisonfire recordings which the group attributed to returning home from traveling around the world with a fresh perspective,” in a press release.
‘Billy Talent II’ meanwhile was the band’s most commercially successful album and debuted at Number One on the Canadian Albums Chart. The album was certified 4x Platinum in Canada and 2x Platinum in Germany, selling over one million copies worldwide.
The album included some of the band’s biggest hits including ‘Devil in a Midnight Mass’, ‘Fallen Leaves’, ‘Surrender’, and ‘This Suffering’. The album also won the JUNO Award for Rock Album of the Year.
