The 2025 Game Awards are like the Oscars for gamers.
This year’s ceremony had a ton of impressive moments, including a performance by Evanescence. Nominees from top studios including Konami, Sucker Punch Productions, Nintendo, Kojima Productions and so much more showed up and showed out in hopes of getting a big win. With entries like Silent Hill f, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hades II and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II all up for awards, it was bound to be a year worth watching.

While official reviews of the game haven’t come out yet, it was reported via The Game Post that an alleged Silent Hill f reviewer gave the game 9.5/10, calling it “genuinely spectacular.” This game was nominated for a slew of categories this year including Best Narritive, Best Audio Design and Best Performance for the game’s leading lady Konatsu Kato.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – PlayStation 5

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a unique entry that takes place in the “turmoil of a civil war,” where Wenceslaus IV fights against the invading Sigismund, King of Hungary and Croatia and his allies. This is a continuation of the main character Henry’s story from the first game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, released in 2018. If you like medieval settings and RPGs, then this one is for you.
