Ariana Grande has let her fans down gently by giving an update on rumours she is planning a 2025 tour.
The 31-year-old chart-topping star is currently riding high at the box office in the critically acclaimed blockbuster Wicked – Part I.
But while fans can look forward to seeing the star return to cinemas in 2025 for the second part of the musical, it appears they won’t be able to watch her perform on stage.
Rumours have blazed that the One Last Time singer would take to the global stage with a huge world tour next year, but her record label, Republic Records, has nixed the speculation.
A fan account on X highlighted that Ticketmaster had set aside 15 dates for Grande in 2025 sharing screenshots of the mysteriously held dates.
But Grande’s label responded to the post, writing, “There are no plans for a tour next year.”
Perhaps anticipating the disappointed response, the label added, “but Ariana remains deeply appreciative of her fans and all their continued love, support and excitement.”
Grande’s last tour was the Sweetener World Tour which took place in 2019 and saw her play 100 shows across three legs – taking in dates in North America and Europe.
It was her first tour since her 2017 Dangerous Woman Tour which was targeted by a terrorist who detonated explosives at a concert in Manchester, killing 22 concert-goers and injuring more than 1,000 more.
