Band of Horses Set 20th Anniversary Tour for Everything All the Time

Band of Horses have unveiled a slate of anniversary plans to celebrate 20 years since their debut album, Everything All the Time. A spring tour themed around the album launches with three dates in their native Seattle this March, and, on March 20, they will reissue the album via their longtime label Sub Pop. The 19-track expansion includes their 2005 Tour EP and a trove of unreleased studio and live tracks, along with demos and rarities. Check out the tracklist and tour dates below, as well as a James Ayling-directed video for “(Biding Time Is a) Boat to Row,” a song from that early EP. Josh Whitehouse (Eddie Roundtree in Daisy Jones & The Six) stars in the video.

Everything All the Time producer Phil Ek writes in liner notes for the reissue, “I’ve always believed that albums need to feel special and should transcend the recording process. I want records that I produce to feel like you can walk into them, to have a three-dimensional depth. The music should stay as fresh and exciting as the first time you heard it. Achieving this requires a lot of time, trust, and effort in the studio, but it pays off in the end. Twenty years on, I still think Everything All The Time exemplifies this fully.”

Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell adds in a press release, “This album made all of my dreams come true. Forever grateful for the desperation that fueled its inspiration.”
