Brandon Flowers has announced a headline tour of the UK, Ireland and North America in support of his upcoming solo album ‘Thrasher’.

The Killers frontman will hit the road this autumn for a run of shows across North America, the UK and Ireland, with the UK leg including a night at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 15.

The dates follow the announcement of ‘Thrasher’, Flowers’ third solo album and first since 2015’s ‘The Desired Effect’, which is set for release on August 21 via Island Records – pre-order it here.

The album’s first single, ‘Plans’, is scheduled to arrive this Friday (June 26).

Tickets for the UK and Ireland dates go on general sale on Friday July 3 at 10am here. Fans who pre-order the album will also be able to access a presale from Wednesday July 1 at 10am.

North American pre-sale begins at 10am on Thursday (June 25), while the general sale is at the same time on Friday (June 26) here.

The Royal Albert Hall show will mark Flowers’ first full performance at the venue since The Killers’ 2009 shows there, which were later released as the live album and concert film ‘Live From The Royal Albert Hall’.

‘Thrasher’ features a number of renowned Nashville players, including David Rawlings on guitar, pedal steel player Bruce Bouton and Charlie McCoy, the 85-year-old harmonica player whose work appears on several of Bob Dylan’s classic Nashville records.

The Killers’ frontman spoke to NME about plans for a new solo album last year, when at the 2025 Ivor Novellos and presented with the Special International Award by Bruce Springsteen.

“I made two South West records, if you want to know the truth. One is a romantic South West record, and the other is a narrative South West record which picks up where [The Killers’ 2021 album] ‘Pressure Machine’ left off,” he shared, before adding that Springsteen was a source of inspiration.

“He gave me the permission to write about things that I actually know about and experiences that I’ve actually witnessed, that I’ve lived,” Flowers added. “There’s something powerful about that. When people hear it, it doesn’t matter where they are, they get it and they pick up the heart and the soul from it. Those are the things that I’m able to tap into.”

Flowers added: “I’m thrilled about both of them, and they’ll both come out before the next Killers record – but I’m thrilled about the next Killers record.”

The Killers last released an album with 2021’s ‘Pressure Machine’, followed by the greatest hits collection ‘Rebel Diamonds’ in 2023.
