Bring Me The Horizon announce ‘L.I.V.E. in São Paulo (Live Immersive Virtual Experiment)’ concert film to hit cinemas

Bring Me The Horizon have announced an “immersive” new concert film L.I.V.E. in São Paulo, coming to cinemas worldwide. Find all the details below.

The film captures the Sheffield band’s biggest headline show to date at the Brazilian city’s Allianz Parque Stadium, where they performed to a sold-out crowd of 50,000 in late 2024.

L.I.V.E. in São Paulo (Live Immersive Virtual Experiment) expands on the visual universe of BMTH’s ‘POST HUMAN’ series, blending cinematic production, fan perspectives and character cameos such as E.V.E, Selene and M8.

The forthcoming movie boasts multi-camera footage, drone shots, and video clips submitted by the audience. Fans will enjoy an “immersive, multi-angle experience that mirrors the energy of the night”, per a press release.

As for the gig itself, the setlist spans “the full evolution of BMTH’s catalogue, from ‘Sempiternal’ [2013] and ‘That’s The Spirit’ [2015] to ‘Amo’ [2019] and the ‘POST HUMAN’ series [2020-present]”.

L.I.V.E. In São Paulo… is hitting cinemas around the globe for two days only on March 25 and 28. Tickets will go on sale on February 11 – sign up to buy yours here.

In a five-star review of Bring Me’s impressive, horror-inspired Reading ’25 headline set, NME hailed the production as a “mind-blowing spectacular”. It added: “In terms of spectacle, they out-pomp Muse. For performance, they couldn’t give more”.

Backstage at that festival, frontman Oli Sykes sat down with NME to talk about the band’s future, and the inspiration behind their “immersive” stage production.
“We’ve done it all ourselves,” Sykes told NME. “I think some people might think we have these massive production houses and companies that are helping us do all this. But it’s me coming up with the ideas, my mate in Australia does all the animation… our crew that are amazing. We all just put our heads together.”

He continued: “The shows I was looking at when we first put this together were all the dance acts that are doing all the immersive kind of stuff. I went, ‘I want a show like that! How the fuck do you do that?! How the fuck do you get the visuals to match the lights and it look like it’s coming out of the screen?’”

Sykes also revealed that 12 songs could be arriving at some point as part of the ‘Director’s Cut’ of ‘Post Human: Nex Gen’, but warned fans that new music might take a little longer since he became a father to twins.

“The music will come, but it’s just not the be-all and end-all,” he said. “We’re realising that we don’t have to put another record out; we just put one out. Most bands would go away for two years, have an actual break. You don’t have to do this, but I want to and I enjoy it. If it doesn’t happen, then it doesn’t happen.”

Meanwhile, Bring Me will head out on their 2026 ‘Ascension Program 2’ North American tour this spring. They’ll also make appearances at this year’s Rock For People, Nova Rock, Tons Of Rock and Sick New World.

In other news, Bring Me The Horizon have teased a new remix of one of their songs for the Ghost Of Yōtei video game, and confirmed that they will feature on the new ILLENIUM album.
