Britney Spears has admitted she hasn’t been “feeling respected” of late.

Returning to Instagram on Sunday, the Princess of Pop posted a video showing her dancing in a bikini.

In the accompanying caption, Britney revealed that she has been upset due to someone in her security team “messing” with her.

“Haven’t been feeling respected lately,” she began. “I pray that the feeling of people gaslighting me and messing with me goes away… unfortunately I may seem strong but I’m probably one of the most sensitive people in the world… be careful my friends…”

Britney went on to indicate that one of her security guards had played a prank on her.

“Number one – speak when you’re spoken to… Number two – open my gates when I enter my home, don’t laugh and send me around the neighbourhood to find (phone) service to call to make you aware. I’m the only gate that has a camera… You like jokes gentlemen… PS… Stay off my property and we will all be safe,” the 44-year-old continued.

Elsewhere in her message, Britney confirmed that she has a new security team now that she “absolutely adores”.

“I just had to send a message any woman would!!” she exclaimed.

Last week, the Toxic hitmaker also shared a candid post via Instagram in which she declared she’s “lucky to be alive” after the way family members “treated” her in the past.

“We can forgive as people but u don’t ever forget (sic). Yearning and longing for contact is always crucial !!! I’m incredibly lucky to even be alive with how my family treated me once in my life and now I’m scared of them,” she wrote.

Britney has been estranged from much of her family, including mum Lynne Spears and dad Jamie Spears, since the end of her 13-year conservatorship. The controversial arrangement lasted until November 2021.
