BTS World Tour Arirang Live viewing event brings monumental Busan homecoming to cinemas worldwide

Global event cinema distributor Trafalgar Releasing, alongside HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC, have officially announced the BTS World Tour “Arirang” in Busan: Live Viewing. This major global cinema event will broadcast the 21st-century pop icons’ highly anticipated return to the Busan Asiad Main Stadium live to movie theatres across the globe on Saturday 13 June 2026. The performance marks a monumental homecoming for the full group—RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook—and represents their first time sharing the stage at the iconic venue since their historic final full-group performance there in 2022.

The highly symbolic broadcast coincides exactly with the group’s official debut anniversary date, providing a profound moment for the band and their global fanbase, known as ARMY, to celebrate their decade-spanning legacy. Spanning 34 cities with 85 scheduled shows, the “Arirang” stadium run has officially become the most extensive tour ever launched by a Korean musical act. The upcoming Busan broadcast will serve as the third major live cinema installation of the tour, following highly successful live viewing events transmitted from Goyang and Tokyo earlier this spring.

The massive stadium tour is launched in support of BTS’ record-breaking fifth studio album, Arirang, which explores themes of identity and universal human emotion. Released earlier this year, the album achieved unprecedented global commercial success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart with over 641,000 equivalent units, marking the largest first-week numbers for any musical group in over a decade. All fourteen tracks from the album occupied the top fourteen positions on the Spotify Global Top 50 chart simultaneously, securing its position as the best-selling album of 2026 so far with nearly four million first-day sales.

Global tickets for the live cinema event are scheduled to go on sale on Thursday 28 May via the event’s official website, with screening times adjusted or slightly delayed in select international territories to best accommodate local time zones. Featuring the tour’s signature 360-degree in-the-round stage setup, the broadcast promises a fully immersive, big-screen cinematic experience.
