Cabello opened her set with “I Luv It,” the first single from the album which features Playboi Carti, and closed with “He Knows,” her latest single which features Lil Nas X. She premiered the unreleased song “Can Friends Kiss?” during the first half of the performance, which closed with a preview of “Real Life Angels” and “UUUGLY,” which features Drake.
The second half of the set saw the live debut of “Dream-Girls,” “B.O.A.T.,” “June Gloom,” and “Pretty When I Cry.” Cabello also used “Pink XOXO” and “KOSHI XOXO” as interludes during the set. The performance also included “Twentysomethings,” an unreleased song from the record that she premiered during an appearance in Miami.
The only songs from C, XOXO that haven’t yet been unveiled during any live performances are “Hot Uptown,” which is another collaboration with Drake, and “305TILIDIE.”
“This is the best project I’ve ever made, and I have never been so proud of a body of work. It’s just such a world,” Cabello recently told Rolling Stone. “My favorite albums are when I really get to live in a lyric or live in an aesthetic of an album. She is really a complicated, exciting girl, C,XOXO. She really is.”
At Rock in Rio, Cabello padded the live debuts from C, XOXO with selections from her first three studio albums. Her set included “Shameless,” “Sangria Wine,” “Havana,” “Señorita,” “Never Be the Same,” and more.
