Charli xcx sets her sights on a third Number 1 album with Wuthering Heights.

Her second soundtrack album after Bottoms in 2023, Charli’s companion soundtrack to Emerald Fennell’s movie adaptation of Emily Brontë classic Wuthering Heights has been widely praised for capturing the film’s emotional depth.

Wuthering Heights could join both CRASH (2022) and BRAT (2024) to mark Charli’s third chart-topping accolade in four years. Three tracks from the album are also in contention for a Top 40 finish on this week’s Official Singles Chart.

As a result of the above, BRAT is also up six places midweek, possibly moving back into the Top 40 (39).

That means Olivia Dean, whose album The Art of Loving recently became the longest-running Number 1 album by a British female this decade, surpassing Adele’s 30, begins the week at Number 2.

Kylie Minogue’s Tension Tour//Live 2025 album, which was released on streaming platforms last September, has now been dropped on double CD and vinyl formats, and may earn the Aussie legend a 23rd Top 10 record (3).

With Noel Gallagher recently being announced as Songwriter of the Year winner at the 2026 BRITs, Oasis could see (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (19) and Definitely Maybe (33) rise significantly.

American R&B star Brent Faiyaz is looking for a third Top 40 project, and his highest-charting album since 2022’s WASTELAND, with his latest release Icon (20).

As we wait in anticipation for Bruno Mars’ fourth solo album The Romantic, coming Friday February 27, his 2010 debut Doo-Wops & Hooligans looks to scale the chart (27).

Fred again.. and USB could climb an incredible 59 places this week (30) after the renowned DJ’s recent Alexandra Palace gigs in London caught mass attention, with two more shows taking place next week.

And finally, Sam Fender’s People Watching may re-emerge inside the Top 40, with the Mercury Prize-winning Number 1 album also nominated for Album of the Year at the upcoming BRITs (40).
