Mitski has shared covers of One Direction and Frank Sinatra as part of her ‘Puberty 2’ 10th anniversary reissue. Listen below.

This month marks 10 years since Mistki released her seminal fourth studio album, and to celebrate, she’s sharing a new deluxe edition. The digital version is out now (download here), while a limited edition coloured vinyl is out on October 30 via Dead Oceans – you can pre-order it here.
The digital version comes alongside new lyric videos for hits ‘I Bet on Losing Dogs’, ‘Once More to See You’ and ‘Your Best American Girl’, translated into Spanish, Portuguese and Filipino.
Alongside the digital version, Mitski has shared two previously unreleased covers. The first being an indie-rock version of One Direction’s ‘Fireproof’, which gives their acoustic, stripped-back hit an edgier atmosphere.
She’s also shared her brooding, cinematic version of Frank Sinatra’s ‘I’m a Fool to Want You’. Listen below.

As well as the ‘Puberty 2’ deluxe, Mitski released her latest album ‘Nothing’s About To Happen To Me’ in February.
NME gave ‘Nothing’s About To Happen To Me’ a glowing five star review and described it as rich in “wit and warmth” and “her best album yet”.
“She gives few interviews these days, and her personal social media presence, once wonderfully sardonic, has been consigned to history, too,” it read.
“This means we must investigate Mitski’s work forensically to get a sense of where her head is at these days, and ‘Nothing’s About To Happen To Me’ suggests somebody who is less a victim of her own success and more somebody coming to terms with it in her own inimitable style: with an open heart and a delightfully morbid sense of humour.”
In other news, earlier this year, the musician announced a 2026 tour of “global performances”, but went on to shed light on her choice not to embark on a “proper tour” to promote the new record.
