CMAT enlists Jamie Oliver for ‘The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station’ music video

CMAT has enlisted Jamie Oliver to star in the upcoming music video for her single ‘The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station’. Check out a preview clip and series of images below.

The song appears on the Irish singer-songwriter’s Mercury Prize-shortlisted third album, ‘Euro-Country’, which was released last summer. It sees CMAT take a playful jab at celebrity chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Oliver.

“I was at the Jamie Oliver Petrol Station/ I needed deli but God, I hate him/ That man should not have his face on posters/ I feel so angry and sad at most, huh,” CMAT sings on the track, while exploring her irrational dislike of him.

However, CMAT has previously described the cut as “actually a love song for Jamie Oliver”. The chorus goes: “So, OK, don’t be a bitch/ The man’s got kids/ And they wouldn’t like this.”

Taking to social media last night (Wednesday March 11), the singer announced that the official visuals for ‘The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station’ would be premiering on YouTube this Saturday (March 14).

She spoke to viewers from the set of the video, before the camera panned out to reveal an unimpressed-looking Oliver sitting beside her. The clip also included various other behind-the-scenes moments. Tune in here:

The full video will premiere on the big screen during CMAT’s headline show at London’s Alexandra Palace tomorrow night (Friday March 13), before hitting YouTube at some point on Saturday.

A series of stills show CMAT handing over a pair of drumsticks, Oliver performing behind the kit, and the chef sitting at a table, among other scenes. See the images here:

CMAT’s gig in the capital forms part of her 2026 UK and Ireland tour, featuring the artist’s “biggest shows ever”. You can see the full list of dates and buy any remaining tickets here.

Discussing ‘The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station’ upon its release, CMAT explained: “The whole point of the song is actually my annoyance and intolerance and hatred of other people serves absolutely no purpose in my life and is a really bad instinct that I have.

“So it’s actually a love song for Jamie Oliver, if you think about it. It’s me being like ‘don’t be a bitch and stop judging people for annoyances’.”

In a five-star review of ‘Euro-Country’, NME hailed the single as “a hilarious therapy session on her misplaced not-really-hatred for the celebrity chef in lost hours at motorway services”.

Meanwhile, CMAT is also set to perform at numerous festivals this year. These include Coachella, Radio 1’s Big Weekend, TRNSMT, Mad Cool and Bilbao BBK Live.

In other news, CMAT has hit out at the Berlinale film festival over the event distancing itself from politics, calling it “cowardice”. The singer recently appeared as a guest on Harry Hill’s new podcast and YouTube show.

CMAT was nominated in the International Artist category at the BRIT Awards 2026 last month, but ultimately lost out to Rosalía.
