Drake Claims He Bought the Bentley Quavo Had Gifted to Saweetie & Gave It Back to Migos Rapper

When Quavo and Saweetie split in 2021, there were plenty of headlines about the Bentley Huncho gifted to the “ICY GRL” rapper, and who ended up keeping the luxury car.

More than four years later, fans gained some clarity in regards to that situation, as Drake revealed on his Stake stream on Monday night (Dec. 22) that he ended up seeing the baby blue Bentley for sale, purchased it and gifted it back to Quavo.

“You remember when this Saweetie Bentley was going viral?” Drake said to BenDaDonnn. “There was an ice blue Bentley. It was Saweetie’s car, and they said that Quavo had got it for her. I saw it for sale somewhere. [I was like,] ‘I’ma buy that back for my dog.’”

However, the unveiling didn’t go exactly according to how Drake had envisioned when gifting the car back to the Migos rapper.

“I had parked the whip right in the front,” he explained, sharing he wanted to surprise Quavo and have the car out front when he pulled up to his house. “I bought it for him. He pulled up, like, he thought she was there. He really didn’t understand the joke.”

Back in 2020, Quavo gifted the ice blue Bentley to Saweetie just before Christmas, and her jaw was left on the floor when she saw the luxury car outside. “Best gift ever!!! Thank u baby,” she wrote in her Instagram caption at the time.

Quavo and Saweetie would end up splitting a few months later in March 2021, which spurred speculation about Huncho possibly repossessing the car.

Neither party has appeared to directly address Drake’s claim, but the Atlanta rapper posted a Story featuring a photo of himself in front of a massive yacht on Tuesday (Dec. 23). He wrote: “Still a dog! OG Icey.”
