Benny Blanco believes he and Ed Sheeran give the “normal guy” hope.

During the British singer’s appearance on the latest episode of the music producer’s Friends Keep Secrets podcast, Blanco’s co-host, Lil Dicky, described Ed as the “most normal person” when he was in his early 20s.

“I feel like me and Ed share the same thing where it’s like… there’s a lot of guys that get big that you’re like, ‘Oh yeah that person should be,'” noted Blanco, adding they’re very “cool” people. “I feel like both, especially me… you give the normal guy hope.”

Lil Dicky’s wife, Kristin Batalucco, went on to insist all three of the men are just a “bunch of normal dudes”.

Blanco – who is married to Selena Gomez – agreed with the sentiment and joked that there are plenty of men out there that are “so hot” and “can do all the stuff”.

“There’s definitely the popular kid in school who’s super, super attractive,” the Shape of You hitmaker continued, while Blanco, real name Benjamin Levin, added, “Yeah, like Jacob Elordi or something… or like Chris Brown. Like there’s so many guys who can do like crazy stuff.”

Elsewhere, Blanco joked that Benson Boone could be on the scale of “hot-funny looking” celebrity men.

“His body screams hot guy and his face is like, ‘Oh, you can be one of the normal (guys),'” the 38-year-old added.

Previously, Blanco and Sheeran collaborated on Lil Dicky’s 2018 song featuring Chris Brown, Freaky Friday.
