The Chilean artists enter YouTube’s Billion Views Club with the official music video for “Gata Only.” Released in March 2024, the viral hit is the first for either artist to pass the 1 billion view threshold.
Fueled by its poolside visual and TikTok users, the flowing reggaetón would go on to top several charts and peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100, for FloyyMenor’s first appearance on the national singles tally and Cris MJ’s second career entry.

Indeed, “Gata Only” was FloyyMenor’s first song to impact any Billboard chart. The breakout singer, songwriter and rapper made it count. By April, “Gata Only” had climbed to No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs. With that feat, the countrymen became the first Chileans to enter the top 10 on the chart in 25 years, since La Ley and Ednita Nazario’s “Tú Sabes Bien.” It would spend 14 consecutive weeks at the top of the leaderboard, en route to topping Billboard’s year-end Hot Latin Songs chart.
“Super happy with this achievement,” the-then 18-year-old told Billboard at the time. “I’m grateful to the people who have supported me since my beginnings. It was difficult for me to get where I am, but we’ve reached one of the goals I had.”
Internationally, the song became his first top 10 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, and logged multiple weeks atop the Chile Songs chart.
He also made history as the first Chilean to illuminate the Empire State Building in the colors of his national flag, doing so in October 2024 during Hispanic Heritage Month.
It was a dream come true for the youngster. “When I was a kid, my dream was always to speak English and come to the United States,” FloyyMenor told Billboard Español in 2024.
